I am disappointed that I find no mention of requiring labeling of food products, such as chicken processed overseas, showing the origin of ALL ingredients in any imported food products. The country (countries) the food is produced or processed in would be responsible for accurate labeling to US standards. This should be enforced with a ban on any food products from any country failing to enforce this labeling process or any firm or organization altering or failing to properly label foods incorporating imported food products.
Personally, I want to see labeling such as this plus information on GMO products included. I would not hesitate to purchase GMO foods in most cases, but everyone should be able to make that choice for themselves.
